Eco Fire Bars, our 100% plant based fire starters, are new to Roscoe New York. So are we. My husband, Colin Williams, emigrated from Wales in 2019. I'm Mary Hannahan and I began this eco business on my own, back in Wisconsin in 2017. Now, Colin is the maker and I do the customer care and sales. Our eco business roots really came out of my experience living off grid on Rathlin Island in the Irish Sea for 6 years. Lighting a fire never came easily for me. This became my way of supporting myself in building my fires I could feel good about. No bad ingredients. Not even a need to gather kindling. I just lit an Eco Fire Bar, and whatever fire I was trying to light had a 12 minute clean boost.
Here we are now. We make our Eco Fire Bars and sell them retail and wholesale. We are dedicated to producing clean eco-friendly fire starters. Our products are made with sustainably harvested palm oil and locally produced hardwood lumber sawdust. Eco Fire Bars have a variety of uses, from starting fires to sole uses such as hardwarmers and small cooking fires. They are toxin free, chemical free, kid friendly, (non-flammable), and safe, and they are small and lightweight, (a single Eco Mini Bar is under an ounce and gives a minimum of 12 minutes of flame).
